Data is collected by Adstrategy Global, Lda., a private limited company registered at the Lisbon Commercial Registry with the tax registration number 513241558, with its headquarters at Rua da Kuanza 1 A 1990-614 Lisboa, hereinafter Adstrategy, subcontractor for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), which collects it for Data Protection on behalf of
TAP Air Portugal.
TAP Air Portugal considers data privacy to be an essential part of its business.
TAP Air Portugal processes and stores personal data within the European Union (EU) and is always fully compliant with EU legislation and with the principles contained in this document.
This platform complies with the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679), which is legislation that is binding on natural and legal persons, which whether residents of the EU or not, process the data of EU citizens.
This privacy declaration is TAP Air Portugal responsibility. The data protection officer (DPO) ensures compliance with the GDPR and is involved in all matters relating to the protection of personal data. The contact details and identity of the DPO can be found at the end of this document.
For the purposes of the GDPR, TAP Air Portugal is responsible for processing data and determine the purpose and means of processing personal data that is submitted and collected online.
Principles
Our policy for the protection of data ensures the data is:

Collected for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes, and may not be processed later in a manner that is incompatible with this;
Appropriate, relevant and limited to that which is necessary in relation to the purposes for which it is processed;
Accurate and updated whenever necessary; with the adoption of all appropriate measures to ensure incorrect data is deleted or corrected without delay, after considering the purpose for which it was processed.
Retained in a way that allows identification of the data subject only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it is processed.
Processed in such a way as to ensure its security, including protection against unauthorised processing and loss, destruction or accidental damage, by adopting appropriate technical or organisational measures;
Collection of personal data
We must collect some information in order to improve your browser experience and to offer you the services you need when you need them. We make sure you know how we process the data you entrust us with.
With your permission, we will collect the following information : Forename and Surname, Email, Telephone, Tax Number and Company name.
Our website uses cookies or similar technologies to provide the best user experience and to analyse trends, track user movement within the website and collect demographic information about our user base as a whole. Our cookies record such information as the Internet Protocol (IP) address, type of browser, internet service provider (ISP), landing and exit page, archives accessed on our site (for example, HTML pages), operating system, date and time, all to analyse site trends.
Retention period:
Adstrategy retains your data for 6 months, and TAP Air Portugal undertakes to delete it within a maximum period of 24 months.
Minors
You must be 16 or over to accept this privacy policy.
Use of personal data
TAP Air Portugal company will contact you to offer you goods and/or services it provides. Processing this data is based on consent granted by the data subject. Access to personal data is strictly limited to personnel responsible for processing personal data and subcontractors.
Sharing personal data
TAP Air Portugal company undertakes not to transfer data to third countries as defined by the General Data Protection Regulations, and that it will seek your consent should it wish to do so.
Under the terms of the contract signed with TAP Air Portugal , Adstrategy undertakes not to transfer data to third countries.
In certain circumstance, both TAP Air Portugal and Adstrategy may be notified to share personal information in response to requests by supervising authorities to meet GDPR requirements.
Processing security
We process personal data securely, applying and maintaining technical and organisational measure to protect personal data from accidental or illicit destruction, alteration, sharing or unauthorised access, where the processing involves transmitting data over a network, and against any other form of illicit processing.
Access, rectification and deletion of personal data
As the data subject, users have the right to request access to their data and to request its rectification or deletion. They may also restrict how their data is processed and well as object to it being processed and require data portability.
They may also request clarification from the DPO or submit a complaint to the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD) whenever they believe their rights are being violated.
Marketing emails
Once having received explicit consent, those responsible for processing data have permission to send emails to site users. The user may withdraw this consent at any time through the link contained in each message that is sent.
Responsibility
TAP Air Portugal is responsible for and must at any moment prove it complies with the GDPR.
Changes to this policy
This policy may occasionally be updated: for example, in response to changes to relevant legislation. Clients will be notified by email or by a message on the website in the event of any material changes.
